The manager of Northwest Regional Airport in Roanoke vowed Monday to see to it that a weekend accident never happens again.
"When you have enough accidents, either on the trees or the fence or whatever, the issue is not going to go away," Glen Hyde said. "The issue is going to continue to present itself."

Advantages of online universities
Web based learning is the educational craze that is sweeping the nation. The advantages of web based learning have become so readily apparent that colleges and universities of all sizes are implementing web based learning programs, and many are requiring some degree of web based course work in all degree programs. As technology continues to improve, the percentage of course work that must be completed online will surely increase.
Smaller iPad expected at Oct. 23 Apple event
Apple Inc. has sent out invites for an event next Tuesday, where it's expected to announce the release of a smaller iPad.
The invite, sent to reporters Tuesday, doesn't hint at what will be revealed, beyond saying that "We've got a little more to show you." The event will be held in San Jose, Calif.
Student Nerina Orton's waist measures a tiny 15.7inches
Super slim student Nerina Orton has got the UK's tiniest waist of 15.7 inches, after spending 23 hours a day in a corset.
The 22-year-old is less than an inch away from breaking the world record of 15 inches held by American Cathie Jung.
Nerina, from Birmingham, even sleeps in her corset and takes it off only to shower.
